GALA OPENING NIGHT & 2009 DUMBO DANCE FESTIVAL

WHITE WAVE is thrilled to announce that the 9th DUMBO DANCE FESTIVAL is just weeks away. With times being what they have been; this year’s festival is sure to have lines wrapped all around DUMBO for this renowned festivals FREE ticket. Three packed days full stellar performances choreographed by the hottest emerging and established talent at the WHITE WAVE John Ryan Theater. We also invite you you to attend a spectacular Opening Night GALA with 7 Festival Companies performing, a Buffet and Dance party with Korean delights, music by the Bosa Nova Beatniks, raffles for art, personal wellness sessions and local eateries and delights and more.

WHITE WAVE’s annual GALA is a thrilling night of celebration which opens our Fall Season. Witness performances by seven stellar contemporary dance companies, enjoy a scrumptious buffet dinner of Korean specialties, and dance the night away to live music at our fabulous party!

Appearing in performance are Becca Alaly + Dancers, johannes wieland, Lauri Stalling/gloATL(GA), Lucie Baker, Pascal Rekoert/Flexicurve, Robin Conrad(CA), and WHITE WAVE Young Soon Kim Dance Company. Live music by the ever-popular Bossa Nova Beatniks will be provided for your dancing pleasure.

All GALA attendees receive chances to win gourmet wine baskets, “dinner-for-two” at local DUMBO eateries, and much more in our raffle! Guests also receive complimentary Boutique gifts from BERGDORF GOODMAN, including a $25 gift card and $185 exclusive facial treatment (est. total value $250).

Tickets are $100 and up. All funds raised will go directly towards offsetting WHITE WAVE's production costs and to the development of our future programming.
