Design For Modern Dance

I am a ex Dancer turned Interior Designer and am curious to know how many new choreographers would be interested in collaborating with a designer to create visual supporting elements to their work. Set/ Prop/ Costume design? Scenography is often considered only when there is a budget available for it and I feel that it is really good practice for new choreographers to explore the possibilities of what a cohesive Scenic and or costume design can add to the integrity of their choreography........ anyone have an opinion about this?
