About Me:

I am a modern dancer and teach Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement® classes at DNA. I also maintain a private Feldenkrais practice. I am particularly interested in working with dancers and offer a discounted artist rate. I live in Brooklyn and have a tremendous orange fluffy cat named Tango, and look forward to spending some time in Colorado hiking in the mountains this summer.

Brief artistic bio (required for Faculty, Guest Artists and Subs):

I most recently performed with Jeremy Nelson at Danspace Project St. Mark's Church in March and with Ashleigh Leite at the same venue in November. I also currently dance for Daniel Charon. Other choreographers I have had the pleasure of working with in New York include Adriane Fang, Luis Lara Malvacias, and Deganit Shemy. I grew up in Kansas City and received my early training with the Westport Ballet Theatre. Then I went on to the University of Richmond where I majored in Women's Studies and Leadership Studies and studied abroad in Zimbabwe for my junior year. I put in a brief stint as an overnight counselor at a homeless shelter in Denver before selling my car and moving to New York in 2001.
